Bill Belser
Director of Coaching
Tennis Bill is a former ATP and WTA Tour coach with over 40 years of international experience. He has coached five Grand Slam champions, including Andy Roddick and Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario, and also served as the Canadian Federation Cup (now Billie Jean King Cup) Coach. Bill is a certified RPTA Elite Professional, USTA High Performance Coach, and former PBI International Director of Coaching. As Lake Norman Racquet Club’s Director of Coaching, Bill leads our professional team and is available for private lessons with both adults and juniors.
Edoardo Cecere
Head Coach, Junior Academy
Tennis - Padel Edoardo, a native of Turin, Italy, competed at the highest levels of international junior tennis, including a notable win over current ATP star Jannik Sinner. He played NCAA Division I tennis at Queens University of Charlotte, NC, where he earned All-Conference First Team honors in both singles and doubles and was named the 2024 South Atlantic Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Year. As Head Coach of the LNRC Junior Academy, Edoardo brings his international experience and collegiate success to developing the next generation of players.
Clement Torres
Head Coach, Ladies Interclub
Tennis Clément brings international experience and passion to every lesson. Originally from the south of France, he trained at world-renowned academies including Les Hauts de Nîmes and the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy before moving to the U.S. to pursue his tennis career and education. He has worked alongside former pro coaches and even hit with WTA athletes, giving him unique insight into high-level training. Clément is been dedicated to helping players of all ages and levels unlock their potential and enjoy the game.
Chase LaBlanc
Coach
Tennis Chase has coached players to top 10 rankings in both Taiwan and Virginia, guided Louisiana athletes to state singles championships, and developed numerous college players across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III. He has also served as the private coach for the family of Louisiana Governor and presidential candidate Bobby Jindal. Coach Chase is excited to bring his experience to Lake Norman Racquet & Social Club, working with both adult and junior players
Isidora Zivkovic
Coach
Tennis Originally from Serbia, Isidora is a former NCAA Division I and II athlete and elite recruit. She was ranked as the No. 8 women’s player in Serbia and reached No. 2 in the U18 division. As a junior, she earned her first WTA point at an ITF 10K event in Serbia and captured her first Serbian National Team Championship as a U16 player. Coach Isidora brings her international playing experience and passion for the sport to LNRC, where she looks forward to working with both juniors and adults of all levels—whether as an instructional coach or hitting professional.
Dylan Masters
Tennis Pro
Tennis Dylan has been playing tennis for over 10 years and brings 4 years of coaching experience to our program. A lifelong Mooresville resident, Dylan competed at the collegiate level for 5 years, where he played at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions for two seasons. During his college career, he was named to both First and Second Team All-Conference multiple times. As a junior, Dylan ranked in the Top 20 in North Carolina in Boys’ 18s, showcasing his competitive talent early on. Dylan’s passion for tennis and teaching is evident on court, where he focuses on helping players of all ages improve their skills, strategy, and love for the sport.
Choco Velasco
Head Pickleball Pro and Tennis Pro
Pickleball - Tennis Choco is an accomplished Tennis and Pickleball professional with an extensive background as both a player and coach. As a former World Top 10 junior and 5-year Davis Cup competitor, he now brings over a decade of tennis coaching experience to the court. Choco is also a highly accomplished pickleball pro. A DUPR-rated 5.7 player, he won the prestigious U.S. Open Championship in the 5.0 division. For the past 3 years, he has been coaching pickleball players of all levels, helping them develop their skills and excel in competition. He brings a high level of coaching for both tennis and pickleball to Lake Norman Racquet & Social Club.
