Bob Fryer brings a lifetime of competitive and coaching experience to his role as Director of Pickleball at Lake Norman Pickleball Club. A former Division I tennis player at Saint Joseph’s University, Bob competed at the top of the lineup in both singles and doubles and later transitioned into coaching, including training alongside future Grand Slam champion Lisa Raymond during her junior years.

In recent years, he has focused his passion on pickleball, quickly establishing himself as a high-level competitor and coach. His approach blends competitive insight with an emphasis on each player’s goals, experience, and physical capabilities—creating an environment where performance improves and enjoyment remains at the center.
At LNPC, Bob leads with the philosophy: bring your best, keep improving, and enjoy every moment on the court.
