With an accomplished background in collegiate tennis, Mic has achieved over 100 career coaching wins and established himself as a proven leader in player and program development. He began as a head coach at 23 years old. Throughout his career, Coach Moore’s coaching success includes ITA National Singles Championship and six ITA Regional Championships, while developing multiple All-Americans and more than 20 All-Conference players. His student-athletes have also earned distinctions such as NCAA Rookie of the Year, Scholar Athlete of The Year, Freshman of the Year and most impressively, 5 Player of the Year Awards from 2020-2025. These achievements have also led Coach Moore to 5 Coach of The Year Honors.
As a program builder, he has led four teams to top-10 national rankings and guided four separate programs from losing records to the highest rankings in their program history. At each of Moore’s collegiate roles, he has produced the winningest teams in program history. His teams have captured five conference championships and numerous bids to the national team tournament.
At Lake Norman Racquet Club, Coach Moore primarily focuses on junior player development. He is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential, with a particular emphasis on guiding those pursuing the collegiate tennis pathway.
